Since last night, WhatsApp Web on Chrome and every other browser I've tried has been using way more CPU than it needs or had previously used. Like, way more. Chrome usually uses around 0-5% depending on what I'm doing. When I opened WhatsApp Web in the last 12 hours, all of a sudden that percentage spikes to around 40-50% and it makes my fans start spinning like crazy. Jul 21, 2023 · Whatsapp web, desktop app, all worked fine for me before. Even now, whatsapp app syncs on a macbook but not on windows laptop. I tried everything from uninstalling whatsapp, reinstalling it, even tried on a brand new windows laptop but it didn't work. I have been limited to using whatsapp web since the last 2 months.
